A classic classic case of placing the cart before the horse. So The Evening Post decided to make money off of The Lord of the Rings trilogy BEFORE asking for permission?

I just had a call from The Evening Post (I had pre-ordered posters).
Lawyers from the movie producers have told them that they are infringing copyright and that they are not allowed to sell the posters. They’ve all been printed already and will have to be destroyed.
