Maybe not Moria

In Reply To
I hope there is a way that they can shoehorn her into the story if she’s willing. Perhaps Aragorn passes through Lothlorian on his way to get to Moria to pick up Gollum’s trail.

Would it work to have Aragorn enter Khazad-dum after the failure of Balin's colony? I've always thought that Aragorn must have visited Moria sometime before Balin's expedition, possibly during his time in either Rohan or Gondor. It would not have had anything to do with his search for Gollum.
