TheHutt tells us that German shop Amazon.de lists two exclusive BluRay versions — one for 2D and one for 3D. <\/p>\n
\nEach boxset contains the three “Hobbit” films in Steelbook packaging (i.e., the cases are made of metal). What’s even more interesting about them: they contain a replica of Bilbo’s Journal – his diary which later became the actual Red Book of Westmarch.<\/p>\n
If one doesn’t mind German inscriptions on the covers, it might be an interesting collecting item: the discs with the film itself are region-free (can be played on American players) and contain English audio and subtitles.\n<\/p><\/blockquote>\n
