Lament for the Fallen<\/h4>\n

Like the faintest breath of air
\nyour life is to me.
\nWhen ages pass, I shall remain,
\nand you shall cease to be.<\/p>\n

Here I lie alone, with you
\never dwelling in my mind;
\nPainfully I watch and wait,
\nfor I’ve been left behind.<\/p>\n

War, the thing that keeps us torn
\nfrom each other’s loving arms.
\nThreatens to devour you
\nand do the world more harm.<\/p>\n

Shall I wait here, my dear love,
\nfor tidings of your defeat?
\nOr shall I sail across the sea,
\nwith memory of our love, retreat?<\/p>\n

It is the tragedy of your kind,
\nand the gift to the Edain,
\nTo live or die, in peace or war.
\nWhile Eldali\u00eb live on in vain.<\/p>\n

Our love with loss forever bound,
\nand with uncertainty,
\nBitter or sweet, I have to choose:
\nI have weighed them carefully.<\/p>\n

Nam\u00e1ri\u00eb, Eldamar!
\nYour white shores I shall not see!
\nUnd\u00f3miel shall never come,
\nlest death deliver her to thee.<\/p>\n

Tears of bitterness and grief
\nflow down my weary face.
\nL\u00fathien, I know your pain,
\nto love the fallen \u2013 from grace.<\/p>\n

A Lone Traveller<\/h4>\n

 <\/p>\n

A lone traveller, homeward bound,
\nseeking comfort in the dark the night has found.
\nHis heart is heavy and his brow is grim,
\nfor his feet are weary and his eyes are dim.<\/p>\n

But the road keeps winding on and on,
\nthrough woods and fields and valleys cold.
\nNo company save mist and moon,
\nfor the wind’s begun to sing the autumn’s tune.<\/p>\n

Then, passing by the halflings’ land,
\nhe comes to a sudden stand –
\na soft whisper! a glimmer of light!
\nbehold! silvery shadows in flight!<\/p>\n

Away, a golden shimmer dances on the leaves,
\ncaresses ash and oak, then disappears.
\nAnd the night is back to silent, chill,
\nbut the man, he dares not move, stays rooted still.<\/p>\n

He does not know what he has seen,
\nand yet his eyes are filled with tears.
\nAnd though a hint of sadness still lingers in the air,
\nnew strength it gives him, the lone traveller.<\/p>\n

Heir of Numenor<\/h4>\n

He lives in exile as a ranger,
\nHe is the chief of the Dunedain
\nSkilled with bow and blade he is,
\nThe last of a noble line<\/p>\n

He bears the ring of Barahir,
\nHe wields the sword reforged
\nElessar, Elfstone, descendent of Isildur
\nAragorn, heir of Numenor<\/p>\n

Minas Tirath is fading
\nAnd the white tree is dead,
\nGondor is in ruin
\nThe white city will not fall to Boromir you said<\/p>\n

The days of the Stewards are passing and gone
\nThe sword that was broken is forged again
\nFor days of light this is the dawn,
\nHe bears the love of the lady Arwen<\/p>\n

Justice and peace will he bring
\nWhen he is crowned rightful king
\nA great warrior is he, and learned in lore
\nHe is the heir of Isildor<\/p>\n

Aragorn is rightful king
\nOver the great realm of Gondor
\nJustice and peace will he bring,
\nLove and joy will he restore<\/p>\n

Peril and exile has been his lot,
\nYet never power has he sought
\nCome Elessar, king of men,
\nRestore the days of light again<\/p>\n

Fight the shadow back,
\nCrush it at it’s core
\nEstel, hope, for the world of men
\nHe fears the heir of Numenor<\/p>\n

Kingly among the sons of men
\nHe comes to claim his rightful throne,
\nHope he bears and will he bring
\nBehold the Return of the King!<\/p>\n
