\"minister<\/a>Our friends behind the very popular audio series The Minister of Chance<\/em> <\/a>have contacted us to share some exciting news – Sylvester McCoy is confirmed to reprise his role as The Witch Prime in the planned movie.<\/p>\n

The Minister of Chance<\/em> is well known by many\u00a0fans, who feel a sense of ownership of the project; it was crowd-funded from the very beginning and, with no publicity budget,\u00a0its popularity came through word of mouth alone.\u00a0The audio series boasts a stellar cast including, in addition to McCoy,\u00a0Jed Brophy, Paul McGann and Philip Glenister. McCoy’s character in the show,\u00a0The Witch Prime, is the leader of the Sezians, a group who believe in magic and hate science. Dan Freeman, the series’ writer, says, ‘He’s like a kind of evil Pope. Sylvester absolutely loves playing a baddie!’<\/div>\n
