Christopher Lee has already spoken somewhat<\/a> about his larger role in The Hobbit: The Battle of the Five Armies. So we know that the White Council has a role to play, and we’ve always assumed that this will involve a quick trip down the road to Dol Guldur to have a chat with Sauron and his best buddies.<\/p>\n

Now, this photo via our friends at Herr-der-Ringe-film.de<\/a> provides further evidence, showing an armoured Elrond on the Dol Guldur set with Bolg (and Richard Taylor front and centre). Course, it is the old Bolg design from the Conan Stevens days, but it definitely seems that there’s a physical confrontation in store for us. <\/p>\n
