A total of 1 minute and 48 seconds.<\/p>\n<p>Astute folks who read our <a href=\"http:\/\/www.theonering.net\/torwp\/2014\/07\/11\/90933-the-ghosts-of-trailers-past-revisiting-the-lord-of-the-rings\/\" target=\"_blank\">memory-lane round-up of the Lord of the Rings trailers<\/a> earlier will note that this is not just shorter than previous trailers for The Hobbit, it&#8217;s closer in length to the teaser for The Return of the King. Accidental parallels? <\/p>\n<p>Also, incidentally, the sub-2 minute length <a href=\"http:\/\/www.theonering.net\/torwp\/2014\/06\/16\/90060-some-clarification-of-the-hobbit-trailer-situation\/\" target=\"_blank\">fits within those new trailer marketing guidelines<\/a> that the National Association Of Theater Owners laid down earlier this year.
