\"FoundersDay15Tree\"When TheOneRing.net marked its 10th anniversary in 2009, we celebrated in style. In fact, we had such a good time, we decided to continue to celebrate every year on April 26, the date that TORn was established.<\/p>\n

Founders Day is TheOneRing.net\u2019s official holiday, filled with the best that a virtual party can offer. If you\u2019re new(er) to the site, it\u2019s a chance to find out about the roots of the site, about the four founders, and to say thanks to the people who keep this place going.<\/p>\n

If you\u2019ve been around for a bit, it\u2019s a great day to reminisce, tell war stories, and reflect on all the adventures and friendships that have been forged over the years.<\/p>\n

Look for a few special party threads on our message boards<\/a> (mostly on Main, \u00a0Off Topic and Feedback)\u00a0and here in<\/span>\u00a0<\/span>Barlimans Chatroom<\/a>\u00a0\u2014 so don\u2019t be shy! Hunt around, find a party game you like, or a conversation you enjoy, and dive in! <\/span>

The Party begins today in Fiesta<\/a> and runs all weekend, so come on in and join in the fun!<\/p>\n

The TORn \u2018Valequenta\u2019 was written by member Alass\u00eba Eruvende and set most beautifully to paper by our dear friend Daniel Reeve, calligrapher and artist for Peter Jackson\u2019s Lord of the Rings and Hobbit movies.
