\"DoS<\/a>As part of our fifteenth birthday celebrations this weekend, we have an exciting competition for you all — and a stunning prize!<\/p>\n

We will be awarding one clever, imaginative Ringer, a The Hobbit: The Desolation of Smaug<\/em> poster — signed by Richard Armitage, Benedict Cumberbatch, Luke Evans, Martin Freeman and Evangeline Lilly (see the photo of it just to the right).<\/p>\n

You could win this poster, with signatures from Thorin, Smaug, Bilbo, Bard and Tauriel!<\/p>\n

To be in the running for this amazing prize, simply show us your new\u00a0Desolation of Smaug<\/em> DVDs and Blu-rays!<\/p>\n

Here’s what we want you to do:<\/h4>\n

  1. Take a picture of your The Hobbit: The Desolation of Smaug<\/em> DVD or Blu-ray box. You can be holding the box, or someone else might be holding it, or it can be on its own somewhere. We want you to get imaginative — think interesting locations, inventive composition, and so on.Consider where it might be fun or unusual to see a Desolation of Smaug<\/em> DVD — location or context! — and take your picture there. Indoors or outdoors, we’re looking for creativity: you and your DVD might be eating second breakfast, checking out the Grand Canyon, or even Scuba diving…<\/li>\n
  2. Then follow @theoneringnet on twitter, and tweet your photo to us, with the phrase ‘Here is my entry!’ and the hashtag #wheresbilbo<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    You must submit your entry before Sunday May 11, midnight UTC. So you have two weeks to get thinking and submit a photo!<\/p>\n

    Now for the competition rules:<\/h4>\n

    This competition is open worldwide.<\/p>\n

    Entrants must be 16 or older; and anyone shown in the photos must be 16 or older.<\/p>\n

    Please, nothing crude, explicit, offensive, etc in the photos. Keep them family friendly! Any photos with offensive content will be automatically disqualified.<\/p>\n

    A panel of judges (made up of TORn staffers) will choose the winning photo. They will judge based on creativity, inventiveness, originality and entertainment. Judges’ decision is final.<\/p>\n

    By tweeting an entry to @theoneringnet, entrants agree to be bound by all competition rules;\u00a0confirm that they and anyone shown in the photos are 16 or older; and accept that the judges’ decision is final.<\/p>\n

    You also agree to give TheOneRing.net a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use your photo. (Now that might sound scary and terribly legal, but basically, all we want is\u00a0to be able to re-post it on our website, Facebook page, and on our twitter stream to show the world just how clever you, the entrants, are!)<\/p>\n

    The winner will be notified on Friday 16th May, via a Twitter private message. Winner then has 24 hours to contact TheOneRing.net to claim the prize. If the prize is not claimed within 24 hours, a new winner will be chosen.<\/p>\n
