\"rangers<\/a>Many Middle-earth fans will be familiar with the independent film Rise of the Fellowship<\/a>, from director Ron Newcomb, who is himself a passionate Tolkien fan.\u00a0 Newcomb has teamed up again with producer Scott Mathias to launch a new project, which should appeal to all fantasy lovers.\u00a0 The proposal is for a web series about a group of Rangers guarding an ancient realm; The Lord of the Rings<\/em>, George R R Martin’s Song of Ice and Fire,\u00a0<\/em>and Dungeons and Dragons<\/em> are all cited as influences for this new tale.\u00a0 Going by\u00a0Newcomb’s previous award winning work, The Rangers<\/em> should be something to look out for!\u00a0 You can read more about this project here<\/a>; and take a look at the teaser trailer, below:
