\"Critics<\/a>The Broadcast Film Critics Association has announced their nominees
\nfor 2013, and The Desolation of Smaug<\/em> has received 5 nods for Best Art Direction, Best Costume Design, Best Make-up, Best Visual Effects,
\nand Best Actress in an Action Movie (Evangeline Lilly).<\/p>\n

Congrats to the nominees! I think I speak for a lot of fans when I say I wish the film had scored a few more nominations. I would have loved nods especially for Cinematography and Original Score (not to mention acting nods for Martin Freeman and Richard Armitage).<\/p>\n
