At last October’s BrickCon<\/a> in Seattle, a new collaborative LEGO creation was unveiled to the world. Alice Finch<\/a>, the same talented artist who created the largest LEGO Hogwarts<\/a> ever built, teamed up with fellow creator David Frank<\/a> to build their own version of Middle-earth’s Rivendell. There have been other impressive versions<\/a> built before but this may dwarf\u00a0them all. I was fortunate enough to see this in person and it was truly spectacular! It really captured the hearts of the public attendees at BrickCon where it picked up the People’s Choice Award. LEGO blog\u00a0The Brothers Brick<\/a>\u00a0has a great interview with Alice and David, that goes into how and why they came to build this amazing version of Lord Elrond’s domain. The\u00a0photos<\/a>\u00a0show all the detail inspired by\u00a0“The Fellowship of the Ring”<\/a>\u00a0and\u00a0“An Unexpected Journey”<\/a>\u00a0as well as the\u00a0massive size<\/a>. It even\u00a0lights up<\/a>!<\/p>\n
