\"Dennys<\/a>Middle-earth’s Diner is back!\u00a0 Denny’s new Hobbit<\/em> menu is available in their restaurants from today.\u00a0 Judging by all the preparation and hard work Denny’s have been putting in over the past months, and to which we at TheOneRing.net have been privy,\u00a0this should be a fun and tempting menu!\u00a0 In their official press release, Denny’s say:<\/p>\n

“The quest for Middle-earth inspired adventure begins today at Denny\u2019s<\/a>, as America\u2019s Diner celebrates the long-awaited release of The Hobbit: The Desolation of Smaug<\/em>, a production of New Line Cinema and Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer Pictures (MGM).\u00a0 A\u00a0 bold new menu features seven authentic dishes inspired by The Hobbit<\/em> films, and a bounty of exclusive movie content available only in-restaurant …<\/p>\n

\u201cWe\u2019re thrilled to bring the taste of Middle-earth back to America\u2019s Diner,\u201d said John Dillon, vice president of\u00a0marketing for Denny\u2019s. \u201cLast year\u2019s menu attracted both Denny\u2019s guests and fans alike with a combination of movie-inspired elements and traditional holiday flavors. This year we\u2019re elevating the experience with the introduction of adventurous new flavors, exciting exclusive content and once-in-a-lifetime prizes, taking our guests on a truly authentic dining journey.\u201d<\/p>\n

The epic adventure doesn\u2019t stop there; an augmented reality interactive placemat features movie images and concept art, an exclusive behind-the-scenes film content piece and a sneak peek at the making of Denny\u2019s movie-themed TV spot. Ensuring this adventure would be authentic to true fans, The Hobbit: The Desolation of Smaug<\/em> Advisory Board, an exclusive group of influential The Hobbit<\/em> movies-oriented media outlets [including TORn], curated by Denny\u2019s, weighed in on select movie-inspired elements, including the development of menu names and selection of the top five entries\u00a0 from \u201cThe Search for Middle-earth\u2019s Greatest Fan<\/a>\u201d video contest. One grand\u00a0prize winner will be selected by Academy Award\u00ae-winning filmmaker Peter Jackson to receive a trip for two to attend the film\u2019s world premiere screening. Four runner-ups will receive free Denny\u2019s Grand Slam\u00ae\u2019s for one full year.”<\/p>\n

\"Dennys<\/a>The new menu includes favourites from last year’s Hobbit<\/em> goodies, such as the ‘Build Your Own Hobbit Slam’, but which this time includes Honey Cake French Toast, Sweet Potato Pecan Pancakes and\u00a0a Hearty Breakfast Sandwich.\u00a0 There’s a spicy new ‘Smaug’s Fire Burger’, and this writer for one is happy to see that ‘Radagast’s Red Velvet Pancake Puppies’ are back on the menu; sinfully delicious!<\/p>\n
