EW.com:<\/em> Peter Jackson has exclusively confirmed that he is still interested in directing an episode ofDoctor Who<\/em>. The\u00a0Lord of the Rings<\/em>\u00a0filmmaker has also named his fee: a Dalek. The offer came in the course of Jackson\u2019s appreciation of\u00a0the British science fiction show\u00a0<\/em>that appears in\u00a0the new issue<\/a>\u00a0of Entertainment Weekly.<\/p>\n

Jackson is a diehard\u00a0Who<\/em>\u00a0fan who has been watching the 50-year-old series almost since it began broadcasting and who first expressed his willingness to direct an episode last year. In the EW article, he reveals that he met current\u00a0Who<\/em>\u00a0executive producer Steven Moffat over Christmas and assured him he wasn\u2019t joking. \u201cThey don\u2019t even have to pay me,\u201d Jackson writes.\u00a0\u201cBut I have got my eye on one of those nice new gold-colored Daleks. They must have a spare one (hint, hint).\u201d Jackson already owns two used-on-the-show Daleks \u2014 the most famous of the\u00a0Doctor Who<\/em>\u00a0monsters \u2014 which you can see in the photograph above.<\/p>\n
