\"An<\/a>Join us for ‘An Unexpected Art Show’ in Los Angeles, California on Friday, February 22, from 7 PM to 1 AM. Celebrating The Hobbit<\/em>, The Lord of the Rings<\/em> and J.R.R. Tolkien’s Middle-earth, ‘An Unexpected Art Show’ will feature inspired art pieces \u2014 from paintings, drawings, and illustrations to prints \u2014 from a variety of artists. You can now\u00a0purchase tickets<\/a><\/strong>!<\/p>\n

Among the over 20 artists contributing work and attending in person are\u00a0Tim Kirk<\/strong><\/a>, who illustrated the\u00a01975 Tolkien Calendar<\/a>\u00a0\u2014\u00a0the first by an illustrator other than Professor Tolkien,\u00a0Jerry VanderStelt<\/strong><\/a>, who has been\u00a0teasing us<\/a>\u00a0with his upcoming licensed print for\u00a0The Hobbit<\/em>, and\u00a0Donato Giancola<\/a>,<\/strong>\u00a0known for his acclaimed Renaissance style\u00a0paintings of Middle-earth.\u00a0Also on display will be ‘The Last March of the Ents’ from\u00a0OneLug<\/strong><\/a>. This epic LEGO\u00ae creation features an 8 ft. diameter base and the\u00a0Tower of Orthanc<\/a>\u00a0standing 228 LEGO\u00ae Bricks (7ft. 2in.) tall depicting a battle scene featuring 23 Ents and 100+ Orcs.<\/p>\n

All ages are welcome to attend.
