Times reveals tidbits of PJs comments about Smaug. \u201cThe trouble with redesigning dragons I\u2019ve found is\u2026 you very quickly can go into science fiction territory, and I don\u2019t want to do that,\u201d the filmmaker said. \u201cI want to present the most venal, scary, decrepit, nasty dragon I possibly can.\u201d In the interview, PJ also confirms a &#8216;small cameo&#8217; by the dragon in the first film.
