The figure will be of the character Bilbo Baggins himself! This version of the loveable Hobbit will be in his “invisible” state while wearing The One Ring. As you can see Bilbo comes in a great looking display box with what appears to be a scene from Gollum’s cave. This 6″ figure will be available at the Gentle Giant Booth #3513 and Entertainment Earth Booth #2343 for $25 all while limited to just 3,000 pieces world wide. We here at TORn are also pleased to announce that because of the awesomeness of The Bridge Direct we will be giving away not ONE but TWO of these figures. As master toy licensee for both films, The Bridge Direct will unveil a stunning collection of authentic and highly-detailed toys at retailers this October. From action figures to role play accessories, the wide-ranging toy line captures the thrill and adventure of the timeless story and will bring the fantasy to life for fans of all ages. The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey will be released beginning December 14, 2012, and the second film, The Hobbit: There and Back Again\u2122, is slated for release beginning December 13, 2013. The two films based on The Hobbit are productions of New Line Cinema and Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer (MGM).<\/p>\n

Available only at San Diego Comic-Con 2012, this intricately detailed transparent figure will be presented in a numbered collector\u2019s edition box.<\/p>\n

Jackson is also producing the film, together with Carolynne Cunningham, Zane Weiner and Fran Walsh. The executive producers are Alan Horn, Toby Emmerich, Ken Kamins and Carolyn Blackwood, with Boyens and Eileen Moran serving as co-producers.<\/p>\n
