Oscar-tipped Jackson singled out deputy prime minister Dr Michael Cullen, saying that he&#8217;d allowed the overstating of The Lord of the Rings deal to &#8220;give tax breaks a bad name&#8221;. &#8220;I do know how much the tax breaks were &#8211; although I&#8217;m not allowed to really talk about it &#8211; but it&#8217;s a minute fraction of the $200m that keeps getting bandied about,&#8221; Jackson said. &#8220;To me, that figure is . . . ludicrous and irresponsible.
