There\u2019s always a lot going on in the Hobbit Discussion Board right now, so it\u2019s difficult to fight the urge to highlight the whole thing!\u00a0 But there’s so much more on the other Boards as well!\u00a0 Like over in the Main Discussion Board; Sunflower has asked a thought-provoking question about the “textual ghosts” of LOTR… about characters in Tolkien\u2019s works that are only briefly mentioned and how those characters could be expanded in The Hobbit or The Lord of the Rings.\u00a0 Do you know of any?<\/em><\/a><\/p>\n

While over on the LotR Movie Discussion Board, Mooseboy018 leads the discussion on connections, parallels and other fun details noticed in the films… like Frodo and Sam each pulling the other from the brink of disaster, or Gollum with a worm at Dead Marshes and Sm\u00e9agol with a worm at the beginning of ROTK.\u00a0 Do you have any you’ve spied that others may have missed?
