\"\"<\/a>Fans of\u00a0The Hobbit <\/em>know actors such\u00a0as\u00a0Ian McKellen (Gandalf) and Andy Serkis (Gollum) have at least discussed reprising their Lord Of The Rings<\/em> roles\u00a0with Hobbit <\/em>director Guillermo del Toro or producer Peter Jackson.\u00a0 While reports suggest other Lord Of The Rings<\/em> actors may have a role in the upcoming production, it appears one name has not been contacted at all.<\/p>\n

In an\u00a0interview with Bob Strauss of the Los Angeles Daily News<\/a>, Blanchett\u00a0\u00a0mentioned\u00a0“she has yet to be approached to reprise Galadriel in the upcoming Hobbit <\/em>movies”.\u00a0 Although\u00a0Galadriel\u00a0is not mentioned\u00a0in the story, fans\u00a0speculate she may yet appear if scenes\u00a0alluded to in the book (the White Council or an attack on Dol Guldur) are included in the movies.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n

Could\u00a0this mean\u00a0Galadriel has no\u00a0role\u00a0in the new movies?\u00a0\u00a0Or simply the “green light” delay\u00a0related to\u00a0MGM’s situation would\u00a0nix\u00a0even a discussion about the lady of light returning?\u00a0\u00a0TORN fans likely will continue to\u00a0debate it on the message\u00a0boards.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
