“Now he\u2019s a father, Goode doesn\u2019t even like travelling that much. But just before we met, he\u2019d auditioned for the role of Bilbo Baggins in Guillermo del Toro\u2019s two-part film of The Hobbit<\/em>. As he is the first to admit, he\u2019s not an obvious choice \u2013 \u2018Look at the size of me for Christ\u2019s sake!\u2019 If he got the part, he would, he says, find it almost impossible to refuse \u2013 despite the fact that it would involve him spending several months in New Zealand.”<\/p>\n
