The Mythopoeic Society is a literary society dedicated to the study of JRR Tolkien, CS Lewis, Charles Williams, the Inklings, and general fantasy.<\/p>\n

Mythcon, the Mythopoeic Society\u2019s annual conference, is a four day event that features panels, papers, a Banquet with presentation of the Mythopoeic Awards; an Art Show, Dealers\u2019 Room, Auction; costumes, music, short plays, films, games, good talk & fun. <\/p>\n

For budding writers and artists, Mythcon is the perfect place to meet experts in these fields. Myth and Fantasy film and book enthusiasts will meet like-minded people in a relaxed atmosphere. <\/p>\n

Time: 12 noon on Friday 9 (July 17) to 12 noon on Monday (July 20).
\nRates: Full Conference $80. Mythopoeic Society members $70. Students (with I.D.) $60.
\nSingle Day: Friday (\u00bd day) $15. Saturday $28. Sunday $28. Monday (\u00bd day) $15.

\nMeals: Banquet alone (Sunday evening, July 19) $50. Food is available for purchase at UCLA.
\nParking: Parking on campus is $10 per day.
