\"082708_hobbit\"<\/a>It has been well documented that Guillermo del Toro will approach the original The Lord of the Rings<\/em> cast to reprise their roles in Middle-earth should the script call for it. News comes today from the MTV Movie Blog that one such actor, John Noble, won’t be available:<\/p>\n

\u201cIf they said, \u2018Would you come and play Denethor again,\u2019\u201d Noble said, \u201cI would have to say, \u2018No, I\u2019m doing [new J.J. Abrams television series] \u2018Fringe\u2019! And I certainly couldn\u2019t play a younger Denethor or even Ecthelion now that I\u2019m an older John. Not even with makeup.\u201d<\/div>\n
