Simon, from &#8220;<a href=\"http:\/\/www.denofgeek.com\/movies\/83523\/guillermo_del_toro_definitely_two_hobbit_movies.html\" target=\"_blank\">Den of Geek<\/a>&#8221; sent in a preview of an interview they&#8217;ll publish next Tuesday in which they asked the director whether a second film was in doubt. According to GDT: &#8220;Absolutely, categorically not to my knowledge. There\u2019s going to be a second film, but the shape of what it is and how it happens will be determined by the process.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>Upping the ante, message board member Dive Twin pointed us to an interview at <a href=\"http:\/\/movies.ign.com\/articles\/887\/887584p1.html\" target=\"_blank\">IGN<\/a> where Guillermo teased fans with this comment about M2:<\/p>\n<div class=\"quote\"><em>&#8220;That is the film that most belongs as a joining effort to the trilogy. And that&#8217;s the film we&#8217;re going to work the hardest on in the next six months. There are many more questions than there are answers at this stage. But in my heart of hearts, I believe we found a way to do it. I don&#8217;t want to spoil it. I&#8217;m not being coy and I&#8217;m not faking it.
