A quick <a href=\"http:\/\/www.theonering.net\/torwp\/?s=uma+thurman\">search<\/a> of TORn&#8217;s news archives yielded some great old school speculation and casting rumors from 1999-2000 when it was believed that Uma Thurman and Ethan Hawke were all but guaranteed parts in the trilogy. This reporter personally thinks Miranda Otto was absolutely perfect for the role and did not want to see Uma in LOTR. How do you feel?
