Just to let you know that the National Library of Australia in Canberra is having an exhibition called “Treasures from the World’s Great Libraries”. Among these treasures is Tolkiens original cover design for the Hobbit, painted by the master himself (complete with handwritten notes). I for one will be going on a pilgrimage!
