The Lord of the Rings: The Two Towers<\/i> has received eight nominations for the International Press Academy Awards, better known as the Golden Satellite Awards. The nominations, which include Best Motion Picture (Drama), Best Director and Best Supporting Actor (Drama) come one short of the nine nominations received by The Fellowship of the Ring<\/i> last year, however this year The Two Towers<\/i> has already received a special award for Oustanding Motion Picture Ensemble Cast – meaning the possibility of coming away from the awards with nine Golden Satellites is still a possibility.<\/p>\n
