feelings concerning Goblins, and the machines and devices they are
responsible for, quite clear. In The Lord of the Rings we are treated to more of the authors dislike of machinery. Here we find the fallen wizard Saruman, who tinkers in explosive devices and has a ‘mind of wheels and metal’.<\/p>\n
