{"id":22848,"date":"2001-08-21T10:00:47","date_gmt":"2001-08-21T15:00:47","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.theonering.net\/torwp\/2001\/08\/21\/council-of-elrond-change-2\/"},"modified":"2001-08-21T10:00:47","modified_gmt":"2001-08-21T15:00:47","slug":"council-of-elrond-change-2","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.theonering.net\/torwp\/2001\/08\/21\/22848-council-of-elrond-change-2\/","title":{"rendered":"Council of Elrond Change?"},"content":{"rendered":"<p class=\"intro\">We recieved this report from a production insider concerning the council of Elrond.<\/p>\n<p><i>Sources tell me Bilbo wasn&#8217;t present when they were shooting the Council scenes &#8211; which isn&#8217;t to say that he couldn&#8217;t be added in later I suppose, but I doubt it, because Frodo was there at the time.  <\/p>\n<p>Also, we&#8217;ve seen many pictures of the Council, and none of them have shown Bilbo.  I&#8217;m pretty sure the hobbit sitting next to (anticlockwise) Gandalf (or rather his empty seat)  in <a HREF=\"http:\/\/www.theonering.net\/movie\/scrapbook\/large\/889\" TARGET=NEW>&#8220;889.jpg&#8221;<\/a> is Frodo (or rather, his small stand-in) &#8211; c.f. <a HREF=\"http:\/\/www.theonering.net\/movie\/scrapbook\/large\/1166\" TARGET=NEW>1166<\/a> and you&#8217;ll notice the clothes are the same. <\/p>\n<p>You&#8217;d think that if Bilbo was there, he&#8217;d be sitting next to Frodo, but you can see from pic 889 that no-one is.  Hmm, you know what else is weird?  In the trailer <a HREF=\"http:\/\/img-www.theonering.net\/movie\/preview\/images\/trailer02_49.jpg\" TARGET=NEW class=\"no-lazyload\">(trailer02_49.jpg)<\/a> where Frodo is standing up, there isn&#8217;t a chair next to Gandalf at all&#8230;<\/i><\/p>\n<p>Seems an odd change to have, what do you folks think?<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>We recieved this report from a production insider concerning the council of Elrond.
