We are still filming background scenes for ROTK. Despite the fact that the schedule was due to finish mid-August, shooting continues apace. Mostly Orc material approaching Minas Tirith, charging out of the Black Gates of Mordor, being slaughtered by the Army of the Dead, etc. Corsairs have been busy; Army of the Dead likewise. What was originally meant to be two days ended up taking three weeks for the latter. <\/p>\n
The latest finish date is the end of this month. It has been making Weta Digital a bit nervous, cutting it this close to the release date, but otherwise everything is still going really well. <\/p>\n
