Matt, who initially sent <a href=\"http:\/\/www.theforce.net\" target=\"new\">TheForce.net<\/a> the Laga&#8217;aia casting news, just emailed us with news  Jay Laga&#8217;aia will be playing <a href=\"\/movie\/char\/ugluk.html\">Ugluk<\/a> in the upcoming films. For the last 1\/2 a year, we thought <a href=\"\/movie\/cast\/lees.html\">Nathaniel Lees<\/a> was cast in this role. Confused? We are too! We are gathering info right now and will report back ASAP. <\/p>\n<p><font size=\"3\" color=\"red\"><b>update<\/b><\/font><br \/>After some more research, we are without any new information. <a href=\"http:\/\/www.eonline.com\" target=\"new\">E!Online<\/a>, <a href=\"http:\/\/www.imdb.com\" target=\"new\">IMDB.com<\/a> and other sources list <a href=\"\/movie\/cast\/lees.html\">Nathaniel Lees<\/a> as <a href=\"\/movie\/char\/ugluk.html\">Ugluk<\/a>.  I have also contacted a few folks in the industry and have come up with the standard &#8216;non answer.&#8217;  <\/p>\n<p>Some theories have popped up on how this situation could arrise. One suggests that both <a href=\"\/movie\/cast\/lees.html\">Lees<\/a> and <a href=\"\/movie\/cast\/lagaaia.html\">Laga&#8217;aia<\/a> are playing <a href=\"\/movie\/char\/\">Ugluk<\/a> at different stages of the movie. After all, they are heavily covered with make-up. Another theory suggests <a href=\"\/movie\/cast\/lees.html\">Lees<\/a> was let go from the production and <a href=\"\/movie\/cast\/lagaaia.html\">Laga&#8217;aia<\/a> took his place.
