My father just gave me his latest edition of AARP (American Association of Retired People) Nov.-Dec. 2001, and it has an article on the upcoming films. Its called The Lure of the Rings and its covers a small history of the books and their impact on the author and works that followed in its footsteps i.e Harry. I can’t scan it but they have a web site and would probably send you a copy of the mag. You’ll get a laugh at some of their alternate people that could have played the roles (Dennis Franz as Samwise).
