An inside source from Burger King tells me that a 10 minute preview (perhaps the same one from Cannes) was shown to restaurant managers today at a National Franchise Association Restaurant Managers Conference in Birmingham, Alabama. They were also informed of various promotional items to be available with the release of FOTR including: 19 individual character toys that are described as &#8220;interlocking toys with voice and light capabilities&#8221; and also 4 goblets depicting different characters. <\/i>&#8220;<\/p>\n<p>I guess I&#8217;m going to have to start hitting Burger King&#8230;but it is going to be extremely hard to break my newly found passion for &#8216;In and Out Burgers.&#8217; <\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>So what IS Burger King doing to promote LOTR?
