• Quickbeam goes Out on a Limb<\/b><\/a> and practically down on his knees begging<\/i> Peter Jackson not to make him wait any longer for The Two Towers<\/i>!
• Anwyn’s Counterpoint<\/b><\/a> reviews a new book, Tolkien’s Sanctifying Myth<\/i>, and interviews its author, Dr. Brad Birzer. The book is a terrific exploration of how Tolkien’s Catholicism affected the writing of The Lord of the Rings<\/i>, and Dr. Birzer has some pithy comments on Tolkien’s world view.
• Turgon shows us two new gems on his Bookshelf,<\/b><\/a> <\/b>including Bilbo’s Last Song<\/b><\/a> and the 2003 Ted Nasmith Tolkien Calendar.<\/b><\/a>
• Turgon also brings us a Special Guest<\/b><\/a> <\/b>item featuring a Q&A with noted Tolkien scholar Verlyn Flieger, author of Splintered Light: Logos and Language in Tolkien’s World.<\/i>
