John<\/b> sends this along: Explore Tolkien’s Middle-earth in a 10-week on-line course hosted by the Centre for Lifelong Learning at Cardiff University. The course will examine Tolkien’s awareness of northern European mythologies and languages as well as other aspects of his scholarly background, by concentrating on The Lord of the Rings, The Hobbit and The Silmarillion.
