\"\" When TheOneRing.net<\/strong> marked its 10th anniversary in 2009, we celebrated in style<\/a><\/em>.\u00a0 We had such a good time, we decided to celebrate every year on April 26, the date when TORn was established.\u00a0 Today is our 13th Founders Day Anniversary and our 23rd Anniversary (TORniversary).<\/p>\n

This year is also a celebration of Peter Jackson’s The Lord of the Rings: The Fellowship<\/strong><\/em> of the Ring 20-year release.\u00a0 The Founders Day games theme will be about The Fellowship of the Ring.<\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a>To us, however, this is more than an Anniversary.\u00a0 Inspired by TORn Discussion Board member weaver, April 26 has evolved into Founders Day<\/strong>.\u00a0 It’s become TheOneRing.net’s<\/strong> official holiday to celebrate our four Founders and is our time to say thanks<\/em> to them and the people (all volunteers) who keep this place going.\u00a0 It’s a great day to find shade under our FD Tree<\/a> <\/em>and reminisce, tell war stories, or reflect on all the adventures and friendships that have been forged over the years.\u00a0 \u00a0If you watch closely, you’ll see that every year a new leaf sprouts with its own unique look.\u00a0 This year, to honour The Fellowship of the Ring<\/strong><\/em>, we have a Holly Tree leaf representing the two Holly trees on sentry outside the doors of Moria. Come to our Discussion Boards<\/a><\/em> where the day and several days after are filled with the best that a virtual party can offer.\u00a0 It doesn’t end until it stops!\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0No one can ever be too late, so you can arrive precisely when you mean to.<\/p>\n

Everyone is invited to join in — so don’t be shy!\u00a0 Look for special party threads clearly identified (**FD) in the subject line on our message board posts on Main<\/a><\/em>.\u00a0 Hunt around, find a party game you like, or a conversation you enjoy, and dive in!\u00a0\u00a0You can even order a virtual drink at Fiesta Friday.
