Princess of the Lavender Mist<\/strong><\/h4>\n

In the fading light of day,
\nshe twirled her purple gown,
\nrippled by soft winds, she cast
\naside her pine-tree crown.<\/p>\n

As the stars came out,
\nas the darkness fell,
\nthe princess of the fairyland,
\nwent dancing through the dell.<\/p>\n

In deep dark waves of violet,
\nthrough luminous lavender mist,
\nshe flew above the forest,
\nsearching for her prince to kiss.<\/p>\n

Calling to the silver stars,
\nsinging to the full moon,
\nher flight through the night was long,
\nand morning would return soon.<\/p>\n

So the princess left a message,
\nformed of tears she\u2019d cried,
\nso that her wandering prince
\nmight read it, on his morning ride.<\/p>\n

The princess returned to the hill,
\nwhere she\u2019d cast aside her crown,
\nand back to sleep she went,
\nwrapped up in her purple gown.<\/p>\n

In morning light a dawning,
\nher prince rode among the trees,
\nindeed he read her message,
\nglistening upon the leaves.<\/p>\n

He waited until lavender,
\nonce more painted the sky.
\nAnd long after the sun had set,
\nthey danced long into the night.<\/p>\n
