IMDB<\/a> Newsbit 1: Director Wolfgang Petersen insists that, contrary to previous reports, there “won’t be a week of delay” in the production of Troy, starring Brad Pitt as Achilles and featuring Peter O’Toole, Julie Christie and Orlando Bloom. Petersen has told Daily Variety that shooting will begin in London in April, then move on to Malta, before winding up in Morocco. Worries that anti-American feelings in Morocco could lead to disruption of the filming there were dismissed by the director who said, “We won’t be shooting those final battle scenes until July or August. If things are going on in the world that make Morocco impossible, we have explored Mexico and Spain.
