I heard the voice | whispered with thunder
\nResounded out loud to the world:
\nRinging all round | the Doom Ring silent
\nAs the Judge proclaimed it so.<\/p>\n

\u201cWhen weary the world | and hoary the Powers
\nEnthroned for ages grow
\nThen shall the call | to the Dark One come
\nLost in the Spaces of E\u00e4.<\/p>\n

\u201cTo him then shall draw | the servants of old
\nAnd the unhappy dead enthronged
\nShall follow his wrath | through the heavens darkened
\nIn anger and joy of black hearts.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe Abhorred One, | once Admirable named,
\nThe Necromancer most dark,
\nSecond-most servant | by kingdoms adored
\nIs drawn to the Black Foe\u2019s side.<\/p>\n

There too the seven | Flame-shadow wreathed
\nHis deadliest servants of old:
\nThe Dread Oppressor | flame-wreathed darkly
\nWith iron-clawed whip of flame;<\/p>\n

\u201cThe Lord of Torture | the Shadow Horror,
\nWith fist of iron adorned;
\nThe Bane of Durin | drowned in shadow,
\nThe bane of the Dreamer as well;<\/p>\n

\u201cThe Lightless Cleft: | the darkened Son,
\nAbhorred by his father grim;
\nThe Old One Golden | by Men adored
\nWielder of armies most foul;<\/p>\n

\u201cThe Striving Sword | herald most false
\nAnnouncer of Darkness to all;
\nAnd lastly the ogress | Prison Most Foul,
\nWhose arms encircled the Foe;<\/p>\n

\u201cAll these shall come | the Demons of Might
\nThe Balrogs flaming with dark.
\nTheir whips of flame | and claws of iron
\nShall rend the Walls of the World.<\/p>\n

\u201cThere too shall come | on wings of the dead
\nThe Woman of Secret Shadow
\nWith her legions all dark | with wings smiting the skies
\nAs through the airs they fall.<\/p>\n

\u201cWith these the Wolf: | The Hungering Maw,
\nThe Blue wolf too is there.
\nAll led by Kur\u00faki | the wizard ensorcelled
\nWhose nightmares torment all.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe four cats grim | with hackles raised
\nCome clawing in as well:
\nMiaul\u00eb fierce | and Oikeroi false,
\nTevildo and Umuiyan all.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe serpents wild | with flame enwreathed
\nOn wings of leather fly
\nThe Golden Gloom, | The Rushing Jaws,
\nThe Crawling One too is come,<\/p>\n

\u201cCold drakes fierce | and fire drakes wild,
\nScatha the wyrm as well.
\nWith flaming jaws | and rushing wings
\nAll these adorn the skies.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe Boldogs old | and Serpents wily
\nThe Balrogs and the Wolves
\nThe Ogres mute | and Giants grim
\nThe Dragons and the Dead,<\/p>\n

\u201cAll have come | to follow him
\nTo whom in death they heed:
\nThe Black Foe | Morgoth Baugron
\nThe Constrainer of all good.<\/p>\n

\u201cNow then they come | through skies all rent
\nBy claw and flame and spell
\nAnd to the Sun | and to the Moon
\nWith war and death they speed.<\/p>\n

\u201cThen battle joins | in Heaven dark
\nThere driven back the twain:
\nAri\u00ebn fierce | the maiden bright
\nAnd Tilion the horned.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe Ship of gold | and the Fruit of Noon
\nAre cast into the deep,
\nThe Argent Isle | and Rose of the Moon
\nAre hurled in the abyss.<\/p>\n

\u201cThen darkness falls | upon the world
\nAnd to the Foe there comes
\nThe sight of only | one place of light
\nIn Valinor afar.<\/p>\n

\u201cThere come are all | the host of stars
\nBy E\u00e4rendil led
\nWho by the love | of Sun and Moon
\nHad thither his bark sped fast<\/p>\n

\u201cUpon the plain | now dark outstretched
\nUnder the starless sky
\nTo the Valiant One | and the Breather Wise
\nHe joins his starry host.<\/p>\n

\u201cWith these are come | the heroic dead
\nT\u00farin Master of Doom
\nAnd Beren the Bold | One-Handed Man
\nThe Lover of L\u00fathien fair.<\/p>\n

\u201cE\u00f6nw\u00eb too | the herald triumphant
\nConqueror of Morgoth of old
\nWith anger fierce | for love of the maid
\nAri\u00ebn of the Sun<\/p>\n

\u201cBore trumpet gold | and brilliant arms
\nTo battle the Blackened Foe.
\nThese stood then forth | at the head of the host
\nThe Children of Eru arrayed.<\/p>\n

\u201cWithin that host | assembled across
\nThose friths and fields blest
\nAre some of each | of the kinds of all
\nThe Children of The ONE.<\/p>\n

\u201cTo waking new | from sleep of ages
\nThe Blasphemous host will rise
\nTheir stony bed | will leave for ever
\nIn the Caverns of the Forgotten.<\/p>\n

\u201cThus they shall | their sins redeem
\nAnd beyond their deaths they\u2019ll win
\nAs to the host | of the sons of the gods
\nTheir might of arms they join.<\/p>\n

\u201cThus is drawn up | on the Holy Plain
\nOf Aman in Valinor blest
\nThe host of Heaven | and the host of Hell
\nIn lines of battle ready.<\/p>\n

\u201cThis battle of | all battles last
\nAnd greatest ever to come
\nShall end the world | in clash of fate
\nIn the Dagor Dagorath.<\/p>\n

\u201cTo Morgoth then | Eternal Foe
\nShall come the final end.
\nWith the Laughing God | whom he feared of old
\nHe shall in contest strive<\/p>\n

\u201cBut T\u00farin grim | of Men ill-fated
\nShall drive with wrath his sword
\nGurthang dark | into the breast
\nOf the Foe of Elves and Men.<\/p>\n

\u201cWith the aid of him | Herald of gods:
\nE\u00f6nw\u00eb bright and blest
\nThe sword shall strike | full true its mark
\nAnd an end shall be of ill.<\/p>\n

\u201cThen leveled I see | the Mountain Wall
\nAnd the Circles of Earth are joined.
\nThe Straight Row soothes | the Bent Seas wild
\nAnd all is as it was.<\/p>\n

\u201cFrom the Earth and Sea | and the Sky above
\nThe triune realms of Arda
\nShall be recovered | the Stones of light
\nThat F\u00ebanor made of yore.<\/p>\n

\u201cFor E\u00e4rendil | mariner blest
\nShall from the heaven descend
\nAnd surrender the stone | he has from old
\nTo the hand of its Maker true.<\/p>\n

\u201cIn that glad hour | the hope of gods
\nAnd Elves and Men and Dwarves
\nShall come to pass | for he will give
\nHis works to Kemi Earth Mother.<\/p>\n

\u201cShe taking then | the hallowed lights
\nShall kindle again the Trees
\nAnd o\u2019er the Earth | the Light will spread
\nRenewing the sick and marred.<\/p>\n

\u201cThen shall the Powers | hoary with age
\nRenewed with youth become,
\nAnd awaken the Elves | and all of the Dwarves
\nInto the world reborn.<\/p>\n

\u201cArda Hastaina | shall be no more
\nThe marring then shall mend
\nIt shall become | the Earth renewed:
\nArda Envinyanta.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe Dwarves will then | with their Maker glad
\nTake part in the works of change
\nAnd fashion for all | and Earth all new
\nFar greater than was before.<\/p>\n

\u201cThen before The ONE | and the Throne of Thrones
\nA Music New will join
\nAll the sons | of Men long gone
\nAnd the Elves of all ages born.<\/p>\n

\u201cIn this Theme | all shall be right
\nAnd a world renewed be born
\nAnd Men their home | find beyond all hope
\nThe Firstborn there to meet.<\/p>\n

\u201cThen each to each | shall sing in joy
\nOf the wonders of past and now,
\nWhile o\u2019er all things | the Hand of the ONE
\nUpholds and hallows all.<\/p>\n

\u201cThus shall it be | and thus have ye heard
\nYe Children of Elves and Men.
\nFrom Evil Good | will ever spring
\nFrom the Hand of The ONE in all.\u201d<\/p>\n

To Maitimo<\/strong><\/h4>\n

I will not linger to see such a thing of beauty<\/p>\n

As you, first-born of Feanor, with such rich gifts<\/p>\n

By Eru endowed, destroyed before my very eyes.<\/p>\n

As the Sun sets lower, its shades turn bloodier,<\/p>\n

And my heart bleeds with it.<\/p>\n

As he that is unnamed must be<\/p>\n

the Black Enemy of the World,<\/p>\n

So must you walk down this path:<\/p>\n

A thing must break if it bends not.<\/p>\n

I will not waste words, but hear this, beloved:<\/p>\n

Plead for mercy before Mandos,<\/p>\n

For such a day shall come for you<\/p>\n

(And do you think it does not crush me<\/p>\n

with sorrow to say this?) \u2013<\/p>\n

So you may come back to me,<\/p>\n

And there may yet be hope of healing:<\/p>\n

My red-haired prince, the dispossessed.<\/p>\n

These Eyes<\/strong><\/h4>\n

As I look beneath this Middle Earth with these Dwarven eyes.
\nI see the dense bones of its form and the strength that’s held inside.
\nThe jewelled and precious structures, that bedeck it’s hidden frame.
\nOf diamonds and of sapphires bright that glitter there like flame.
\nStrands of silver Mithril that provide sinew to the bone
\nAnd granite for the muscle in which we Dwarves call home.
\nThese eyes they see the wonder of this glittering, wondrous land.
\nA place for all the Dwarven Kin carved out by Durin’s hand.<\/p>\n

As I look beyond this Middle Earth with these Elven eyes.
\nI see the vast and swirling plains where the Mearas ran with pride.
\nThe towering snow capped mountain peaks where the Eagles fly above .
\nAcross the seas to Valinor, the Isle where dwells my love.
\nTowers of great stone cities stand imposing and so grand.
\nTo homely, concealed Hobbit Smials that blend in with this land.
\nThese eyes they see vast distant shores that surround these ageing lands.
\nThere’s no place now for Elfinesse, began by Eru’s hand.<\/p>\n

As I look across this Middle Earth with these eyes of Man.
\nI see a world whose beauty scarred, still stands the test of time.
\nWhere ancient realms and new world meet for us to make our own.
\nAnd stake our claim to these readied lands with our Crowned King on the throne.
\nThey look towards the North and South, and across both East and West.
\nA long time waiting for our time but we finally passed the test.
\nThese eyes they see opportunity throughout a new free land.
\nWe’ll make it ours and ours alone, this land now built by Man.<\/p>\n
