Mirkwood, shadow of the past!<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">The Elves no longer wander free \u2014<br \/>\nthey are withdrawn; or else they flee<br \/>\nwith age-old grief and unchecked tears.<br \/>\nFalls in gusting sheets of water<br \/>\nsparkle in their endless stream.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">Dol Guldur, evil place of might,<br \/>\nhas set fair Elves in desperate plight.<br \/>\nTo flee or stay while darkness reigns<br \/>\nis the choice that is given them;<br \/>\nOr they may leave for Valinor,<br \/>\nbright land of shining golden swells.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">~~ * ~~<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Welcome to The Great Hall of Poets, our regular monthly feature showcasing the talent of Middle-earth fans.
