Aragorn the D\u00fanedain<\/strong><\/h4>\n

Upon the pinnacle of stone
\nhe stood on high; he was alone
\nsave for the whisp\u2019ring wind above,
\nflying to the far sea he loved.<\/p>\n

His raven hair was blown aloft
\nbefore the coming foe was crossed
\nwith evil cries, and cunning leers,
\nagainst the steadfast Elven spears.<\/p>\n

Far in the North a strong wind blew,
\nthe Elf-host came; on wings they flew
\nto Gondor\u2019s aid, though doubtful they
\nwere of victory that dark day.<\/p>\n

His fie\u2019ry keen eyes pierced the clouds
\nthat over moon and stars were shrouds.
\nHis eye could see the flaming land
\nof Mordor, place of Sauron\u2019s hand.<\/p>\n

\u201cArwen! Beloved, the most fair,
\nmy L\u00fathien, with raven hair!\u201d
\nHis cry was borne upon the air
\nto lands far distant that were fair.<\/p>\n

\u201cAragorn!\u201d her sweet voice flew back,
\n\u201cYour courage is not what you lack.
\nConfidence, in these evil times,
\nwould serve you more than faithless mimes.\u201d<\/p>\n

High in the sky, one star still shone \u2013
\nElbereth, on the gloaming lawn
\nof Valinor, the Elven home,
\nwherein fair Elves forever roam.<\/p>\n

Arwen looked upon this star,
\nclose it seemed, yet it was far:
\n\u201cIl\u00favatar, I pray that you
\nwould guard him in what he\u2019s to do.\u201d<\/p>\n

Upon the pinnacle of stone,
\nstill he stood; he was alone,
\nwhile through the dusk the night breeze blew
\no\u2019er Aragorn, the King anew.<\/p>\n

\na humble halfling’s hand,
\nit preyed for salvation,

\nthe Fell Snare<\/p>\n
