Lament for Boromir<\/h4>\n

Brave son of Gondor,
\nSo proud and so tall,
\nThe white city will weep,
\nWhen told of your fall.<\/p>\n

You battled so bravely
\nto save them both there,
\nCourageous and strong
\nyou were, fierce and fair.<\/p>\n

They will sing of your deeds
\nin both City and Shire,
\nOf the orcs that you slew
\nas the battle raged higher,<\/p>\n

Until pierced by too many
\nblack arrows, you fell,
\nProtecting the Halflings
\nas stories will tell.<\/p>\n

O, Brave son of Gondor
\nwho\u2019s body now rests
\nto let others resume with
\nthis hardest of quests.<\/p>\n

Be at peace with yourself
\nAnd the choices you made
\nIn the end you came through
\nYour true colours displayed.<\/p>\n

The Argonath<\/h4>\n

The ancient structures, bold and tall
\nStill standing watch above the fall
\nAre silent; and no voices call
\nFrom carven mouths to river wall.<\/p>\n

Yet though they cannot see or speak
\nThey stand with pride while rivers leak
\nBetween their mighty feet; and seek
\nFor those whose hearts are frail and weak.<\/p>\n

Centuries did they command
\nWith vacant gaze and outstretched hand
\nFor centuries they still will stand
\nRemaining guardians of their land.<\/p>\n

They bear helms fine as any king hath,
\nThey still withstand the weather\u2019s wrath
\nAnd stand o\u2019er flowing river path
\nUnchangeable \u2013 the Argonath.<\/p>\n

Ithilien<\/h4>\n

Under shining trees in woodland fair,
\nApart from any mortal care,
\nLies Ithilien in splendour bright,
\nIthilien of trees of glorious light.<\/p>\n

Yet beyond the woodland fair,
\nThere was not an evil ne\u2019er,
\nCool are the streams that run,
\nBubbling and laughing in fun.<\/p>\n

Still lies Ithilien, still in blossom bright,
\nStill the moon shines on it with glim\u2019ring light;
\nO Ithilien! No cares or woes carry in your heart!
\nO Ithilien! One last fading sprig save for me.<\/p>\n

Lady of the Evenstar,
\nPure white skin without a mar,
\nHair as black as the blackest coal,
\nGentle, but strong as a month-old foal.<\/p>\n

Lady of the Evenstar,
\nWith a Man her heart travelled far,
\nChose to lead a mortal life,
\nYet a life that to her was free from strife.<\/p>\n

Lady of the Evenstar,
\nUnbendable as an iron bar,
\nGive me what I wish today,
\nA gem before your feet to lay.<\/p>\n

\nBy the dwarves.<\/p>\n

I shall die,
\nA death of fire,
\nBut I refuse to fall,
\nUnless that beast falls with me.<\/p>\n
