center;\"><em>By Cassie<\/em><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">Adrift so long you came and turned the tide,<br \/>\nShowed me how to live again in life and not in dreams,<br \/>\nAlone I was and stifled from the world.<br \/>\nLost without a hope that I could flee from others schemes.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">Unwanted touch and words that made skin crawl,<br \/>\nWere all I had until you came and showed the glint of light.<br \/>\nNo fathers love nor mothers warm embrace.<br \/>\nAlone, none left to lead me, guide me, teach me how to fight.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">You shone a light where there was none before,<br \/>\nA beacon to my lost and fragile heart it drew me nigh.<br \/>\nI felt my spirit soar and call your name<br \/>\nFreed once more from golden cage to live and love and fly.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">But in my heart I think I always knew,<br \/>\nThat you were far to lofty for such earthly love as mine.<br \/>\nAnd when at last I had to let you go,<br \/>\nThe parting was so hard I felt the world stop for all time.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">So, Riding into battle seemed so be<br \/>\nthe only thing left to me in this land of broken dreams.<br \/>\nIf not my heart, my life I would you gift<br \/>\nTo help you in your fight against the dark lords cunning schemes.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">Yet even then you saved me from myself.<br \/>\nAs I lay dying shorn of hope you called me back from \u2018mares<br \/>\nOf cloying shadows bearing down my soul.<br \/>\nYour voice rang through the darkness like an answer to my prayers,<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">And in my healing you showed me the way.<br \/>\nTo find that life is more than just renown for glory\u2019s sake<br \/>\nIn love could I be strong and whole once more<br \/>\nA shadow and a dream no longer now I am awake.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">~~*~~<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: fairest forests cold,<br \/>\nWhere ever a sorrowful Elven-Maid<br \/>\nWalks under a golden shade.<br \/>\nLies L\u00f3rien the fair.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">With hair, golden and white,<br \/>\nUpon her fair forehead, a star shines bright.<br \/>\nWhile singing and dreaming of beautiful Valinor,<br \/>\nAnd the sound of the ocean waves\u2019 roar.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">The trees shine with brilliant light,<br \/>\nAnd branches together brush and twine.<br \/>\nThe grasses in the breezes sway.<br \/>\nThe bees in their flowery cradles lay.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">The Lord and Lady of the glades,<br \/>\nWaited upon with serving maids,<br \/>\nUpon their thrones both proud and fair,<br \/>\nLeave travellers free from pain and care.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">And in the midst of all the trees,<br \/>\nDrowned in flowers like the seas,<br \/>\nFills hearts with Joy and heals all ills,<br \/>\nLies Cerin Amroth: the greatest of hills.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">An Elven maid lifts up her voice,<br \/>\nSadly singing of her choice:<br \/>\n\u201cFarewell, my dearest Middle-earth,<br \/>\nThe world of my Lothl\u00f3rien\u2019s birth.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">~~*~~<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><strong>\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<h4 style=\"text-align: center;\">I was never city born<\/h4>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><em>By Kangi Ska<\/em><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">I was never city born,<br \/>\nNor was I raised in steel and chrome;<br \/>\nI was a child of fields and fens<br \/>\nThat claimed the forest as my home.<br \/>\nMy best of friends were never tamed.<br \/>\nThe wild held our hearts<br \/>\nThough our innocence did pass at last<br \/>\nAs our lives drew life apart.<br \/>\nEach found a different way,<br \/>\nThrough the maze of doubts and fears,<br \/>\nTo build our isolated cells<br \/>\nAt the burning ends of blurring years.<br \/>\nStill I visit times with them<br \/>\nWhen I wake up late alone<br \/>\nWith pains in withered hands<br \/>\nAnd aches in ancient bones.<br \/>\nHow we danced the living sun,<br \/>\nHow we sang before the storm,<br \/>\nOnce we ruled the wilderness<br \/>\nFor none of us was city born.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">~~*~~<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">Through time and mountains high, under starlight and red sky\u2026<br \/>\nfar we have come, hard road traveled.<br \/>\nStories long told, of heroes who fight and battles won.<br \/>\nTurn the page, close the book and carry on.<br \/>\nIt is time we go home, we have reached journey\u2019s end.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">Others may come and go in the telling,<br \/>\nbut the story remains the same.<br \/>\nMany more were the footsteps of those that came to this place,<br \/>\nthan those who now wander home,<br \/>\nyour names now join those of the kings of old and we shall never forget.<br \/>\nIt is time for you to go home, you have reached journey\u2019s end.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">No dragon fire or forgotten gold could ever take our hope and let despair take hold,<br \/>\nfor in the darkness there is always a light\u2026<br \/>\nlet it guide you, take you to the door where it all began\u2026<br \/>\nfor I go there and back again.<br \/>\nIt to moon-kissed glade and fen,<br \/>\nand sing&#8211;<br \/>\nnow say farewell to mist-enveloped streams,<br \/>\nand sing&#8211;<br \/>\nof legends: the Elves will not soon forget:<br \/>\nlong
