Bio via Wikipedia: <\/strong>He was born on Pontypool but lived his early years in Crumlin, a small village in Newbridge South Wales. The rest of his childhood and Teenage years were spent in the village of Aberbargoed, South Wales, at the age of 17 when he moved to Cardiff and then in 1997 he won a scholarship to train at The London Studio Centre for 3 years.<\/p>\n

Since his graduation in 2000, Evans has starred in many of London’s\u00a0West End<\/a> productions including\u00a0La Cava<\/a><\/em>,\u00a0Taboo<\/a><\/em>,\u00a0Rent<\/a><\/em>,\u00a0Miss Saigon<\/a><\/em> andAvenue Q<\/a><\/em> as well as several fringe shows in London and at the\u00a0Edinburgh Festival<\/a>.<\/p>\n

In 2008 he landed a role playing Vincent in the play\u00a0Small Change<\/em> written and directed by\u00a0Peter Gill<\/a> at the\u00a0Donmar Warehouse<\/a>, later that same year he did his second show at the Donmar Warehouse,\u00a0Piaf<\/em>, in which he played Yve Montand. The following year he landed his first film role as Apollo in the\u00a0Clash of the Titans<\/a><\/em> (2010) remake, he later went onto play Clive in the film\u00a0Sex & Drugs & Rock & Roll<\/a><\/em> (2010). He was then seen in\u00a0Robin Hood<\/a><\/em>(2010) playing the Sheriffs Thug. Evans went on to portray DI Craig Stokes in\u00a0Blitz<\/a><\/em> (2011), the film adaptation of Ken Bruen’s novel of the same name in which he stars with Jason Statham and Paddy Considine. After that, Evans went on to play the role of Andy in acclaimed director Stephen Frears\u2019 newest film\u00a0Tamara Drewe<\/a><\/em> (2010) based on\u00a0Posy Simmonds<\/a>‘\u00a0Tamara Drewe<\/a><\/em>. Gemma Arterton co-stars. In early 2010 he starred in an independent movie called\u00a0Flutter<\/a><\/em> (2011) directed by Giles Borg.<\/p>\n

In 2011 Evans played the Musketeer Aramis<\/a> in Paul W. S. Anderson<\/a>‘s version of The Three Musketeers<\/a><\/i>\u00a0(also featuring his\u00a0‘Hobbit’ co-star Orlando Bloom). He was cast in a lead role in Tarsem Singh<\/a>‘s Greek epic, Immortals<\/a><\/i> (2011), in which he played the King of the Gods, Zeus. And at the end of 2010, he took a role opposite John Cusack<\/a> in James McTeigue<\/a>‘s film The Raven<\/a><\/i>, replacing Jeremy Renner<\/a>. In the film, released in 2012 and set in mid-19th century Baltimore, Evans played Detective Emmett Fields, who investigates a series of murders alongside Cusack’s Edgar Allan Poe.<\/p>\n

In 2013 , after wrapping up his role as Bard in “The Hobbit: The Desolation of Smaug” and “The Hobbit: There and Back Again”,\u00a0 Evans was cast in the title role of “Dracula” as well as Eric Draven in the remake of “The Crow”.<\/p>\n
