From TheHutt: The Return of the King (SEE) has achieved a new record in preorder sales, according to the German amazon.de. Since the beginning of the preorder period in the end of September there have been 80000 preorders placed for the SEE and the Collector’s Gift Set on Amazon.de. In fact, the German giftset has been sold out at amazon.de two weeks before release due on December 10th. The previous preorder record holder of Amazon.de was “The Two Towers SEE” with 60000 pre-sold copies. [More]
