Cricket writes in: “I was just watching ‘ET on VH1′ and they had a story snippet about the hobbit actors doing a photo shoot to promote ROTK. Apparently they are recreating the Beatles’ famous Abby Road album cover in the shoot. The show will be on again today multiple times on both VH1 and MTV for anyone who wants to catch it! Check your listings!” (We’re not sure if this will be repeated for Sunday, but the photo shoot sounds cool.)

I noticed today that the local Borders also had a few sets available. So this is well in advance of the November release date listed on the HoughtonMifflin website. I can say that these are beautiful, well-crafted bookends and that we TORn fans selected a very appropriate cover! Well worth the price!”
