
Adanedhel writes: John Rhys-Davies (Gimli) is shooting a film in Bulgaria for the American company UFO. The film also stars Angel Boris (Miss Playboy 1996), Maxuel Colefield, John Hanson and the Bulgarian actors Ivailo Gerasimov, Iskra Angelova and Maxim Genchev. The film is called “Dragon Storms” by director Stephen Foerstein. Filming will take place in the medieval fortress Baba Vida and the dungeons of the “Venetian depot” in Vidin for 18 days. John Rhys-Davies plays the role of the evil king.

Barry writes: Preview screenings of TTT were held on Saturday, 15th February in Japan, a week before the official release on 22 Feb. The cinema I attended (Otsu7, Kyoto) was packed, with screenings every hour or so from 2pm to 3:30am! The TV campaign has started in earnest too. Importantly, friends I spoke to after the screening seemed generally happy with the final translation (happier than FOTR anyway). Looks like it is going to be big here.
