The Fellowship of the Ring was by far the most popular movie at Box Office Mojo in 2002, making up a whopping 15.7% of all the traffic to the movie pages. It handily beat Attack of the Clones (9.0%) and Spider-Man (8.8%). Just a little note for all Irish Ringers that The Two Towers was number one in the Irish Box Office as of the 10th of January according to The Irish Independant, and grossed an extremely respectable €451,381 in that week – over 300 thousand more than second-placed Sweet Home Alabama.
