Here in the UK, Channel 4 have a morning / breakfast show called RI:SE. This morning they had a brief bit on TTT, humourous in nature concerning the antics of Gollum.
There were a number of snippets of the cast and Peter Jackson talking about things Gollum alledgedly got up to.
PJ said that between takes it got close to gwetting out of hand, Gollum pinching bottoms and running amok.
Elijah Wood said that it was sad to see that Smeagol disappeared completely between takes and that Gollum took over.
Sean Austin said that “ We kept an eye on him” and that he smokes like a chimney.
Liv Tyler said that it got embarressing, Gollum hitting on all the female cast and crew.
It was also mooted that there might be a thing going on between Gollum and Jennifer Lopez. I *think* it was Peter Jackson who gave a little comment on how Gollum and Ben Affleck had it out in a carpark and Gollum put Affleck on his [bum]

Not sure if you want to use this – but I have a close source who tells me that when Ebert and Roeper taped their weekly show today at WLS here in Chicago, they both gave The Two Towers a thumbs up.
Roeper explained that he enjoyed it, but that it did not make him change his mind about not liking FOTR, and he wondered if all of the emphasis on fighting was in the true spirit of Tolkien’s work (he commented that since he didn’t know the books, he did not know the answer).
Ebert said (when he gave it a thumbs up) that he was really looking forward to the ROTK, and that when all three are completed that they will be a major achievement in the history of motion pictures. They also talked about how TTT was a whisper away from being rated R because of the violence.
On a lighter note, my source tells me that they had trouble pronouncing all of the characters names, especially Eowyn’s.

Most period Fantasy films stumble badly when trying to find a young performer capable of playing opposite Britains distinguished acting Knights, but Elijah Wood has proven he can certainly hold his own against the likes of Sir Ian McKellen and Ian Holm. And unlike many young American actors, he doesnt have the kind of contemporary face that seems jarringly out of place in a historical setting. [More]

Elijah Wood (Frodo) is certainly making the rounds this week and next for TTT. This morning he was on the Today show and Live! With Regis and Kelly. (look for reports and/or video online soon!)
You can also catch him on The Caroline Rhea show Tuesday December 17th.
