wizardlex writes: I was watching the Kudlow and Cramer financial program on CNBC, the topic was the failling of AOL Time Warner and the possibility of it merging with Disney. The commentator, citing how both AOL/TW and Disney were financially troubled at the moment, mentioned how much better off TW would be right now if they had never merged with AOL – and listed LOTR as a reason for its success.

The auction is for the 52nd Street Foundation, a New York charity that works with inner city children and helps them put their energy into something creative… like original off Broadway plays.
